PotainUsed means the website of reference for professionals of used cranes.
For this, the PotainUsed partners have been chosen carefully, according to criteria assuring seriousness, strictness and professionalism.
In addition, each partner has undertaken to accept and sign a "Good behaviour charter".
The seven points to respect are:

• The Member undertakes to only put on line existing Second-hand equipment;
• The Member undertakes to indicate a price-range for each item of Second-hand equipment;
• The Member undertakes to withdraw from the site, within 48 hours, any crane which has been sold;
• The Member undertakes to deliver second-hand Equipment corresponding in what was ordered;
• The Member undertakes to answer the intentions of purchase in five ( 5 ) working days following their reception;
• The Member undertakes to sell only of the second-hand Equipment;
• The Member undertakes that the Second-hand Equipment should meet and be in conformity with the criteria of the categories defined in the article 5.3 below.

Second-hand equipment sold as re-conditioned means equipment which has had the benefit of a full reconditioning:

• Dismantling, re-assembling and tests on mechanical assemblies, as well as organs of control and security. The spare parts which are changed are replaced by original spare parts.
• Replacement of the slewing toothed ring and its fixings  (in accordance with the legislation of the country of destination).
• Bringing into conformity old equipment in accordance with the regulations in force in the country of destination, provision of the technical documentation (catalogues from the maker and certificates necessary for use in the country of destination) .
• Sanding/Paintwork on the steel structure.
  Placing at disposal new metallic cables and electric wiring corresponding to the wind characteristics.
• Provision of assembly parts such as bolts and nuts, shafts

Second-hand equipment sold after revision means a complete item of equipment, which has had the benefit of a replacement of the metallic cables, a complete revision of the electrical, mechanical equipment and of the steel structure. The bringing into conformity of the equipment has been done, the documentation and the certificates will be provided to the final client in accordance with the regulations in force in the country of destination. This equipment may have the benefit of a guarantee.

Second-hand equipment sold "as it is" means a complete item of equipment, in working order and corresponding to its use in the country of destination. It is sold without initial revision, or guarantee.
